Tea Time

Apart from it being THE coffee country, Ethiopia also has some large tea plantations. Most of the plantations are owned by foreign investers and a lot of tea is being exported to Arabic countries. In Ethiopia, ironically, the tea in the streets is hardly ever made with actual tea leaves. The typical ethiopian spice tea consist of cardemom, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, … and tons of sugar!
